Day time: It is universally known that Hong Kong people like betting on horse racing and tourists with enough time and money often like to visit the racecourse for some excitement. For horseracing fans there is also a Hong Kong Horse Racing Museum .
Hong Kong is not just a bustling city, but is also a great place to get some exercise! There are many great walks in Hong Kong where you can get some fresh air and some amazing views. You can walk around The Peak, in the country parks or on one of the outlying islands such as Lamma.

Night time: Hong Kong offers some great culture from around the world. The Hong Kong Cultural Centre and Art Museum frequently has shows of global theatre and art. Jazz music is also a popular event, with many big name stars playing at the Jazz Club .
Film has a long history in Hong Kong, and there are now more than 100 cinemas in Hong Kong enabling fans to see both Hong Kong films, and the newest films from around the world. The best choices may be JP Cinema at Causeway Bay and Broadway Theatre at Kowloon Bay .

Lan Kwai Fong on Hong Kong Island is full of trendy bars and clubs and is often bursting with life throughout the night. Kowloon also has a good nightlife, although generally offers bars with a more relaxed scene. For the most up-to-date information on events pick up a copy of the Hong Kong Magazine from one of the bars or restaurants around town.

Hotel bars - Many of the luxurious hotels have entertainment facilities. The most famous hotel bars are Captain's bar and Chinnery Bar at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong Hotel, where you can enjoy a nice relaxing drink. However if you prefer to party the night away many of the hotels also have discos with DJs.

Nightclubs - Most of Hong Kong 's nightclubs can be found in the city centre, with singing and dancing performances taking place every night. One of the most popular is ‘ China city nightclub' (3-4/F, Peninsula Center , 67 Mody Road , Tsim Sha Tsui Reservation: 2723 1898).
